Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with a specialization in process optimization to join their team in Plymouth, Devon . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement detailed process improvement plans, including layout modifications and workflow streamlining.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to measure performance and support data-driven decisions.
• Design and optimize material flow and logistics within the facility.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams to ensure adherence to standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Experience with process simulation and CAD software is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
