About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with a specialization in Supply Chain Optimization to join their fully remote team. This position is vital for analyzing and enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of the company's global supply chain operations. You will leverage data analytics and process modeling to identify bottlenecks, streamline logistics, and implement innovative solutions from your remote workspace. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management, to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to model supply chain scenarios and evaluate potential changes.
- Collaborate virtually with internal teams (procurement, operations, logistics) and external partners to implement supply chain enhancements.
- Design and document standardized supply chain procedures and best practices for widespread adoption.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain and report on performance trends and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specific focus on supply chain or logistics optimization.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and transportation logistics.
- Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and simulation software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working in a remote team environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
