Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical Industrial Engineer specializing in Supply Chain operations for their facility in Wolverhampton . You will be instrumental in improving the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the supply chain network. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize the entire supply chain network, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times, minimize costs, and improve service levels.
• Design efficient warehouse layouts and material flow systems.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and manage supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance and report on findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Knowledge of Lean principles and their application in a supply chain context.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
