Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing operational systems, including production processes, material flow, and information systems, to identify inefficiencies.
- Design and implement optimized system configurations, workflows, and layouts using modeling and simulation tools.
- Apply lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless implementation of system improvements.
- Monitor system performance using key metrics and provide regular reports on findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on systems analysis and optimization.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing or related continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
