About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and analytical Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is crucial for optimizing production systems, improving efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across the facility. You will work on a hybrid basis, combining on-site collaboration with remote analysis, contributing to significant process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes, workflow, and plant layouts to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
- Design and implement new production methods, systems, and technologies to improve output and quality.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize worker productivity and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to solve operational challenges.
- Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to management regarding process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within manufacturing.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience with CAD software and simulation tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a hybrid model.
