About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Industrial Engineer to join their remote team. This role focuses on optimising complex systems of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy within our manufacturing and operational frameworks. You will leverage your expertise to improve productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness by designing, developing, and evaluating integrated systems. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to contribute significantly to operational efficiency from anywhere, driving strategic improvements across our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse operational data to identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Design, develop, and implement new or improved production systems and workflows.
- Utilise simulation, modelling, and statistical analysis to optimise resource allocation and throughput.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders remotely to implement system changes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare reports on proposed engineering projects and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in industrial engineering , operations research, or process improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modelling skills.
- Proficiency in simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent remote communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
