Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Industrial Engineer to join their team, contributing to the optimization of manufacturing and operational processes. This role offers a hybrid working model, blending in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. You will be responsible for analyzing existing systems, identifying areas for efficiency gains, and implementing improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety. Working closely with production staff and management, you will apply engineering principles and data analysis to solve operational challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze workflow, production processes, and operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques and other optimization tools.
• Design and test new manufacturing methods, equipment, and systems to enhance output and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure successful implementation of changes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Monitor and report on the performance of implemented changes, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD, simulation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
