About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Industrial Engineer to optimize their manufacturing processes and systems. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to apply engineering principles to design, develop, and improve integrated systems of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, and materials. You will be instrumental in enhancing productivity, efficiency, and quality across the plant by analyzing workflows, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to cost reduction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes, workflows, and layouts to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment to optimize productivity and quality.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and improve operational performance.
- Develop and maintain production standards, ensuring adherence to quality and safety regulations.
- Utilize simulation and modeling tools to test and validate process improvements before implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and operations research techniques.
- Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
