Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions, diagnose issues, and execute necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, identifying potential problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery as required.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or in a similar hands-on maintenance role.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with welding, fabrication, and the use of various hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and protocols.
• Must be able to work effectively within a team and independently in the Birmingham area.
