About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing operations based in Bristol . This role is critical for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of all plant machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment failures, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system failures.
• Install and commission new equipment as required.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize production downtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship preferred.
