About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing facility in Glasgow . This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of all production machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
• Relevant trade qualification or certification is a significant advantage.
