About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Process Engineer to join their innovative team, operating in a fully remote capacity, supporting operations in the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK area. This role is focused on the analysis, design, and optimization of industrial processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. You will work with advanced analytics and lean methodologies to drive tangible improvements across manufacturing and operational environments. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing industrial processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, focusing on lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.
- Design and document new or revised process flows, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize simulation software and data analysis tools to model process changes and predict their impact.
- Collaborate virtually with production teams, quality control, and management to implement process changes effectively.
- Monitor process performance through key metrics and provide regular reports on efficiency gains and cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Process Engineer or in a similar process improvement role.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with process simulation and data analysis software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and communicate clearly in a remote environment .
