Industrial Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Industrial Process Engineer to join their established team in Liverpool . This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their manufacturing processes. You will be directly involved in optimizing production lines, improving product quality, and implementing cost-saving measures through the application of sound engineering principles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement root cause analysis for effective problem-solving.
• Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production staff and quality control teams to ensure adherence to standards.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on the Liverpool site.
