About the Role

Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join their dynamic team in Glasgow, Scotland . This role is crucial for connecting businesses in the industrial and manufacturing sectors with skilled manual, technical, and operational staff. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding their operational needs, and sourcing high-quality candidates to fill critical roles, contributing directly to the productivity and success of our industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with businesses in the industrial sector to understand their staffing requirements.
• Source and recruit candidates for a variety of industrial roles, including warehouse operatives, production staff, engineers, and logistics personnel.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments to ensure suitability for demanding industrial environments.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients in the manufacturing and logistics industries.
• Manage compliance and onboarding processes for temporary and permanent industrial placements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in recruitment , with a focus on industrial, manufacturing, or logistics sectors.
• Strong understanding of the skills and requirements for various industrial job roles.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding placement targets.
• Full UK driving license may be advantageous for client site visits in the Glasgow area.
