Our client is seeking a competent Industrial Systems Technician to join their esteemed installation and maintenance team in Bristol . This role is central to ensuring the reliable operation of complex industrial systems, from initial setup through to ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting. You will work with a variety of machinery and processes, contributing to the efficiency and safety of operations for our clients across the South West. Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and commission industrial machinery and control systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults on industrial equipment and related infrastructure.
- Conduct performance testing and system checks, ensuring all parameters are within specification.
- Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Experience as an Industrial Technician, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and relevant machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- A valid UK driving license is required for travel to sites within the Bristol area and surrounding regions.
