Information Scientist (Content Analytics) - UK, Slough - 12 Month Contract
We are looking for an experienced Information Scientist for a fantastic 12 month contract based in Slough.

What You’ll Do
- Apply information science expertise and AI-enabled tools to extract insights from biomedical literature and external data sources.
- Translate scientific and business questions into effective information and content strategies.
- Use AI tools to support discovery, summarisation, and sense-making rather than developing models.
- Operate at the intersection of information science, analytics, and responsible AI adoption.
- Enable R&D teams to work more efficiently and effectively with large volumes of content.
What you’ll need:
- Experience or interest in NLP and LLM applications (transformers, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering).
- Familiarity with data visualization and scientific communication tools.
- Knowledge graph and ontology management.
- Python and AI frameworks for text analytics.
