Information Security Analyst - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards and alerts from various security tools for potential threats.
• Perform initial triage and analysis of security events to determine severity and impact.
• Document security incidents and investigations clearly and concisely.
• Assist senior analysts in the investigation and remediation of security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Support the maintenance and configuration of security monitoring tools.
• Stay up-to-date with current cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organisation's sector.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an information security role, preferably in security operations or analysis.
• Familiarity with security concepts, common threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with SIEM tools or other security monitoring platforms is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote capacity, with good time management skills for Liverpool -based teams.
