Information Security Analyst (Threat Intelligence)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Information Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join their fully remote team, supporting operations near Cambridge . You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence to help protect the organization from evolving cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of the threat landscape, attacker methodologies, and intelligence analysis techniques. You will play a vital part in enabling proactive defense strategies and informing security decision-making across the company, working independently in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze threat intelligence from various sources (open-source, commercial feeds, government reports).
• Develop and maintain threat models and profiles of relevant threat actors and campaigns.
• Produce timely and actionable intelligence reports and alerts for security operations and leadership.
• Provide insights into emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Support incident response activities by providing context and relevant threat information.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share and enrich threat intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in threat intelligence analysis, cybersecurity operations, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical factors, cybercrime, and nation-state threat actor motivations.
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, research, and report writing skills.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards.
