Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewall logs.
• Investigate potential security incidents, perform initial analysis, and escalate as necessary.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and collaborate with relevant teams to remediate findings.
• Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) in daily security operations and threat detection efforts.
• Contribute to security awareness training and communication initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in an Information Security Analyst role or a related IT security function.
• Familiarity with common security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, vulnerability scanners).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively communicate findings in a remote setting.
