Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools to detect and investigate potential security incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Respond to security breaches, containing incidents and facilitating recovery efforts.
• Provide security awareness training to employees and educate them on best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security controls are effectively integrated into all systems and applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and risk assessment methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach.
