Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and other security tools.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents, escalating as appropriate and documenting findings.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans and assist in the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls and technologies.
• Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training to employees.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in an Information Security Analyst role or a related IT security position.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM platforms, antivirus software, and firewalls.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent are preferred.
