Information Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Information Security Architect to join their team in Liverpool . Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient information security architectures.
• Develop and maintain security blueprints, standards, and guidelines for the organisation.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the system development lifecycle.
• Lead security reviews of proposed IT projects and infrastructure changes.
• Provide expert consultation on security-related matters to various business units.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in information security , with a significant focus on architecture and design.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex security solutions across diverse environments (on-premises, cloud).
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA), and best practices.
• Expertise in network security, application security, data protection, identity and access management, and cryptography.
• Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
