About the Role
Our client is looking for a visionary Information Security Architect to join their fully remote security team. This critical role involves designing, building, and maintaining the security architecture that underpins all of the company's digital operations. You will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and resilient technical solutions, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and systems. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, influencing security decisions and shaping the future of the company's security posture. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise-level security architectures.
- Develop security standards, patterns, and guidelines for IT infrastructure and applications.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's defenses.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure security requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead threat modeling exercises and provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, roadmaps, and governance processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and access management, and data protection.
- Experience with security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
