Information Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Information Security Architect to join their fully remote security team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise-level security architectures.
• Develop security standards, patterns, and guidelines for IT infrastructure and applications.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's defenses.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure security requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead threat modeling exercises and provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, roadmaps, and governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity and access management, and data protection.
• Experience with security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
