Information Security Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.

• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management activities.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure secure development practices and system configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security systems, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
