Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Develop and manage security monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to threats.
• Automate security processes and tasks using scripting and relevant tools.
• Perform regular security audits and assessments of IT infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with IT operations teams to ensure security is integrated into all system lifecycles.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar technical security role.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with security hardware and software, such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security) are a plus.
