About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Information Security Lead to oversee and advance their cybersecurity strategy and operations, fully based in a remote capacity. This leadership role will involve setting the direction for security initiatives, managing security technologies, and ensuring the organisation's defences are robust against sophisticated cyber threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices and drive a culture of security excellence across the organisation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead the implementation and management of security technologies and controls across the enterprise.
• Oversee security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the information security team and wider IT department.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry security standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for identified security risks.

Requirements

• Significant experience (7+ years) in information security , with proven leadership capabilities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture, frameworks, and best practices.
• Expertise in managing security operations, incident response, and risk management programs.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern security technologies.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are essential.
