About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Information Security Manager to lead their security initiatives in Coventry . This senior role is responsible for overseeing the entire information security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's data and systems. You will lead a team of security professionals, develop strategic security roadmaps, and manage security operations to defend against a wide range of cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's overall information security strategy and roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the information security team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security controls, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Manage the incident response process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security breaches.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, legal, and business unit leaders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field; advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are essential.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in information security management, with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive security programs, including governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
• Strong understanding of current threat landscapes, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
• Proven experience managing security budgets, vendor relationships, and security awareness training programs.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
