Information Security Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Information Security Manager to lead their security program in Leeds . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of information security, including policy development, risk management, incident response, and security awareness. You will manage a team of security professionals, collaborate with senior management, and ensure the organisation's digital assets are protected against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor the information security team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the organization's incident response plan and manage security breaches effectively.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security management or a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing security strategies and programs.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, risk management principles, and cybersecurity frameworks .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are preferred.
