Information Security Officer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor security systems, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems, and respond to alerts.

• Assist in risk assessments and the development of mitigation plans.
• Manage user access controls and privileges, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege.
• Support incident response activities and conduct post-incident reviews.
• Maintain documentation related to security controls and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in an information security or IT support role with a security focus.
• Knowledge of common security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including access control, data protection, and network security.
• Proficiency in using security tools and technologies for monitoring and analysis.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
