About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and diligent Information Security Officer to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is essential for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's information assets. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls, monitoring for threats, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage information security policies and procedures across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an information security role.
• Knowledge of common security frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Good understanding of network security principles and data protection measures.
