Information Systems Lead & Business Analyst
Safran Landing Systems seeks an Information Systems Lead & Business Analyst to drive technology strategy at the Gloucester MRO site. The role leads a team of Service Delivery Analysts and Software Developers, shapes the IS roadmap, and champions digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the Information Systems roadmap for the Gloucester MRO site, aligning with Safran's global IS strategy.
- Lead, coach and inspire a team of Service Delivery Analysts and Software Developers, ensuring high‑quality solutions on time and within budget.
- Drive major business‑wide technology projects to improve efficiency, enhance user experience and support long‑term growth.
- Build strong partnerships between the Gloucester site and Safran's Global IS function, ensuring collaboration and consistency.
- Partner with the Quality & Safety Manager to implement and maintain the ISMS, supporting compliance with EASA Part‑IS regulations.
- Ensure exceptional day‑to‑day IT service, championing customer support and continuous service delivery improvement.
- Act as the voice of the business, translating operational needs into technology solutions that create measurable value.
- Facilitate agile sprint planning, ensuring development priorities remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Keep stakeholders informed through clear communication on project progress, risks, priorities and future plans.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, transforming them into clear technical specifications for the development team.
- Lead the full lifecycle of new applications.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
- Proven experience in team leadership and line management.
- Skilled in business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling, data modelling, and methodology development.
- Experience overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems and products.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including network security, cloud security and secure software development practices.
- Extensive hands‑on experience importing and preparing data for reporting tools, spreadsheets, graphs, and process visualisations.
- Ability to create both technical and user‑friendly operational procedures in a clear, structured format.
- Demonstrated project management expertise, including proficiency with Scrum, Agile methodologies and MS Project.
