Job Description
We are seeking Infrastructure Automation Architect in Lonond, UK for 1 year FTC role.
Role Details:
- Define the future process landscape of the end-2-end patching process, including but not limited to
- patch acquisition
- patch certification
- patch rollout
- patch reporting
across the full portfolio of GTI technologies. This includes both the definition of functional and non-functional requirements as well as the specification of processes capable to deliver to these requirements.
- Define the future tooling landscape across GTI to implement and automate acquisition, certification, rollout and reporting of patches including but not limited to o Network & Storage Devices o Operating Systems (incl. Hypervisors) o Runtime Environments (e.g. Containers) o Databases o various other middleware components, both sourced as open-source software or commercial off the shell products
- Align with other technology and business groups across the bank to facilitate the required process changes and plan the implementation of the tooling landscape
- Create material to effectively communicate the required changes to all stakeholders – from technical experts to senior management
Skills
1.5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation in global enterprises on an architect level experience in implementing large-scale automation projects for core data centre technologies solid understanding and experience with
- core infrastructure technologies (esp. networks, servers, operating systems, containers, databases)
- ITSM processes and tooling (esp. ServiceNow)
- reporting & compliance processes
- understanding of cybersecurity, threat and vulnerability analysis
- a record of implementing/improving patch processes on an enterprise level is a huge plus
- advanced communication, consulting and presentation skills
- strong ability to manage and influence a diverse community of stakeholders
