About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated Infrastructure Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Plymouth . This role focuses on the planning, design, and delivery of essential infrastructure projects that support community development, including utilities, transport links, and public spaces. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer eager to contribute to tangible local improvements and gain broad experience in various infrastructure sectors, operating within a dedicated office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure projects, including utilities, roads, and site development works.
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications using relevant software.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including local authorities and utility providers.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, health and safety , and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in infrastructure design and project delivery.
- Proficiency in CAD software and relevant engineering design tools.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative, non-remote setting.
