Infrastructure Engineer VMware Horizon / VDI Manchester | £70,000£80,000 + Bonus & Benefit sInfrastructure Engineer required by an established innovative and cutting-edge technology organisation delivering highly secure infrastructure and services into sensitive UK environments. Theyre looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on experience across VMware / Omnissa Horizon, VDI and enterprise endpoint environments. This isnt a generic Infrastructure Engineer position and it isnt a pure Security Engineer role either. The real focus is somebody who understands how to own, support, improve and secure a large-scale Horizon / VDI environment, alongside thin-client and managed endpoint estates.What youll be working with Youll take responsibility across areas including:

• Omnissa Horizon / VMware Horizon VDI
• Horizon Connection Servers
• Unified Access Gateway (UAG)
• Instant Clones
• App Volumes
• Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM)
• Desktop pools and image lifecycle management
• VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Thin-client estates across multiple UK locations
• Windows endpoint / laptop management
• Active Directory and Group Policy xwwtmva
• Patching, hardening and vulnerability remediation
• Infrastructure monitoring and operational support
• Security controls within highly regulated environments
• Automation and scripting where appropriate
