Job type: Full time- Permanent Location:, Nottinghamshire Hours of work: 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00 (3 on - 3 off rotating) Reporting to: Technical Shift Leader Pay: £19.55 per hour Holidays: 22 days per year, increasing with service to 24 days.

Injection Moulding Setter

I am currently recruiting for an Injection Moulding Setter to join a leading UK manufacturer based in Nottinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading plastics manufacturer operating a state-of-the-art 24/7 facility with over 40 injection moulding machines across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out tool changes and machine set-ups to ensure efficient production. Condition set injection moulding machines from scratch. Set and programme 3-axis Sepro and Viper robots. Fault-find and troubleshoot machine and process issues. Complete quality checks and ensure production targets are achieved. Monitor cycle times and product weights to maximise efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department. Maintain excellent health and safety standards at all times.

Ideal Candidate

IMT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Injection Moulding Setter role. Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and machine conditioning. Experience setting Sepro 3-axis robots or similar robotic systems. Experience with Billion, Engel, Arburg or Sandretto injection moulding machines would be advantageous, but not essential.
