Inspector

Location: Peterborough

Rate: £25/hour (Umbrella inside IR35) or £18.25/ hour PAYE

Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm and early Friday finish. Some overtime available (Circa 4-5 hours per week).

We are looking for an Inspector to join the R&D Department of a global automotive company. Inspectors will carry out a variety of Inspection functions to support new program development.

This will involve reading and interpreting engineering drawings and engineers instructions and then using a variety of Inspection tools / machines to check parts as requested by the customer.

You will also need to adhere to company processes including Safety, Standard Work and Quality.

Requirements:

• Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office, PDF, emails,
• Previous experience in writing CMM measurement programs (preferably using PC DMIS software).
• Knowledge of the components of surface topography
• Ability to maintain and update records as required
• Any Machining or Team Lead experience would be advantageous.
