About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to be based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This critical role involves overseeing the complete installation process of sophisticated systems, from initial setup through to final commissioning and handover. You will ensure all systems are installed to specification, function correctly, and meet client expectations. Working closely with project teams and end-users, you will play a key part in delivering successful projects within the demanding Installation & Maintenance sector. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise and a commitment to quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute the installation of new equipment and systems.
• Perform comprehensive system testing and commissioning to verify operational performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams and clients.

Requirements

• Significant experience in installation and commissioning of technical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical diagrams and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel across the Wolverhampton area.
