About the Role

Our client is seeking a practical and detail-oriented Installation & Maintenance Technician to join their expanding team in Norwich, Norfolk . In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of various types of equipment and systems at client locations. You will ensure that all installations are performed efficiently and to a high standard, and that maintenance activities keep systems running smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Perform installations of new equipment and systems at customer sites according to technical specifications.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and repair technical faults, ensuring minimal disruption to clients' operations.
• Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repair work undertaken.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide basic on-site support and guidance to clients regarding equipment operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an installation or maintenance technician role, with a strong technical aptitude.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Possession of a valid UK driving license is required for travel within the Norwich area and beyond.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
