Job Description
Installation and Service Engineer – North London (Barnet / Enfield / Watford area)
6‑month FTC (Full Time Contract) with a view to permanent employment.
Salary: £30,000 + Benefits.
Applicants must be able to drive and travel within the North London territory (Barnet, Enfield, Watford).
Company‑provided van, laptop, phone, tools, uniform and travel expenses will be supplied.
Full training will be provided for candidates comfortable with general IT and DIY skills.

We are looking to hire an Installations Engineer responsible for installing and configuring basic systems, conducting general maintenance and troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The role requires a confident, handy person with strong customer‑facing skills who works closely with clients in their homes.
Responsibilities and Required Skills
- Technical ability: Ability to conduct general installations using DIY and power tools.
- IT: Confident with Microsoft packages and able to complete online documentation accurately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver installations and support services on time and meet company goals.
- Planning: Stay ahead of the game and ensure plans are achieved.
- Problem Solving: Adapt to changing environments and react quickly to meet challenges.
- Customer Service skills: Clear communicator with patience and empathy.
- Communication: Effective communication between Sales, the National Installations Manager and other Installations and Service Engineers.
- Driving licence: A full UK driving licence is a must.
- English: Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential.
- DBS: All candidates will be asked to complete a DBS check – not required to apply.
