About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Installation Engineer to join their operations based in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is essential for ensuring the correct and efficient setup of complex machinery and systems at customer sites. You will be responsible for the complete installation process, from initial planning and site assessment to final testing and handover, ensuring client satisfaction and operational readiness. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys travelling, problem-solving, and directly contributing to the successful deployment of critical infrastructure, working within a respected industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the installation of machinery and equipment at various client locations.
- Conduct pre-installation site surveys to identify requirements and potential challenges.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and software configuration for newly installed systems.
- Conduct thorough system testing, calibration, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide initial training and support to client personnel on system operation and basic maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of installation progress, issues encountered, and resolutions implemented.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Installation Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems relevant to the installations.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings , schematics, and specifications.
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Must possess a valid UK driving license and be prepared for extensive travel within the Bradford region and beyond.
