Our client is seeking a meticulous Installation Technician to join their dynamic team in Birmingham, West Midlands . This role involves the professional installation of various systems and equipment within commercial and residential settings. You will work as part of a field-based team, ensuring that all installations are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the operational efficiency of the company's services in the Installation & Maintenance field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install systems and equipment at customer premises, adhering to project plans and site requirements.
• Test and commission installed systems to ensure full operational capability and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Provide basic user guidance on the functioning of installed systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar installation or technical role is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Ability to work from technical drawings and instructions accurately.
• Good physical fitness to handle manual aspects of the job.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Located within or near Birmingham , with flexibility for occasional travel.
