About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and reliable Installation Technician to join their expanding team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role focuses on the precise installation of various systems and equipment at client locations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality installations that meet stringent standards and client expectations. The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong practical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in the installation & maintenance field, serving clients across the North East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute installations of equipment and systems according to design specifications and project timelines.
• Perform site surveys and prepare installation areas, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available.
• Test and commission installed systems, verifying functionality and performance against set benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot any installation-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide basic training to end-users on the operation of newly installed equipment.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at all installation sites and within company vehicles.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an installation or technical role, preferably within the installation & maintenance industry.
• Good understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and the ability to follow complex instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in installations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license for travel to various work sites in and around Newcastle upon Tyne .
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to quality workmanship.
