Installation Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Installation Technician to join their growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne . In this role, you will be responsible for the professional installation and setup of our clients' products and systems at customer sites. This hybrid position offers a mix of hands-on work at client locations and the opportunity for remote administrative tasks, such as reporting and planning. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive seamless integration and optimal functionality of the services we provide, working within a supportive and team-oriented environment that values precision and customer satisfaction in the heart of Tyne and Wear .

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test equipment and systems according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve installation-related issues.
• Provide basic user training on the operation of newly installed systems.
• Coordinate installation schedules with clients and internal project managers.
• Complete detailed installation reports and submit them promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all client sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various client locations.
