About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join their growing team in Coventry . This position is central to ensuring that our client's cutting-edge products are set up correctly and efficiently at customer sites. You will be responsible for the physical installation and initial setup of equipment, working closely with clients to ensure their needs are met. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of on-site work and opportunities for remote support and planning, making it ideal for individuals who appreciate variety and a hands-on approach to problem-solving within the installation and maintenance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the physical installation of equipment according to detailed project plans and technical specifications.
- Perform initial testing and calibration to ensure all installed systems function correctly.
- Liaise with clients on-site to confirm installation requirements and provide basic operational guidance.
- Document all installation activities, including any deviations or issues encountered, in the company's system.
- Assist senior technicians with more complex maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Respond to client queries and provide remote troubleshooting support for minor issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an installation or technical support role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as basic electrical and mechanical understanding.
- Ability to interpret installation diagrams and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Good communication skills for client interaction.
- Must be able to travel to various client locations around Coventry and the West Midlands region.
