About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Insurance Broker to join their growing practice in Cambridge . In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for advising individuals and businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing appropriate policies, and ensuring they receive the best possible cover and value. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their evolving requirements, and provide ongoing support. This hybrid role allows for effective client engagement through a combination of in-office meetings and remote consultations. Success in this position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and a thorough understanding of the diverse range of insurance products available.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify their insurance needs and risk exposures.
• Research and compare insurance policies from various providers to find the most suitable options.
• Present insurance proposals to clients, explaining coverage, terms, and pricing.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive rates and terms for clients.
• Provide ongoing client support, including policy renewals and claims assistance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar client advisory role.
• A thorough understanding of various insurance products (e.g., personal lines, commercial lines).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Relevant industry qualifications or a willingness to obtain them.
