Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms for insurance applications (e.g., pricing, underwriting, fraud detection).
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define analytical requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
• Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to validate model performance.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist , with a significant portion within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and data mining.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and big data platforms (e.g., Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment .
