About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Insurance Operations Manager to lead and optimize their operational functions in Stoke-on-Trent . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the operations department, including policy administration, claims processing support, and customer service delivery. You will focus on improving efficiency, implementing best practices, and ensuring the smooth and effective execution of all operational processes. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with a deep understanding of insurance operations, committed to driving performance and delivering exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the insurance department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and motivate a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the integration and effective use of technology systems to support operational workflows.

Requirements
- Significant experience in insurance operations management or a senior operational leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive process improvements, and implement operational strategies.
- Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes, including policy administration and claims support.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with operational performance metrics and reporting.
