About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Insurance Policy Administrator to manage policy documentation and client communications for their busy office in Cardiff . This role is integral to the smooth operation of the branch, ensuring all policy details are accurately maintained and client queries are handled efficiently and professionally. You will be the first point of contact for many clients regarding their policies, providing essential support and maintaining excellent customer relationships. This position requires a proactive individual with strong administrative skills who can thrive in a structured, team-oriented office environment in Cardiff .
Key Responsibilities
- Administer new insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements, ensuring all data is accurately entered and updated.
- Process policy changes, cancellations, and endorsements according to established procedures.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing clear and accurate information about their policies.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, schedules, and certificates of insurance.
- Liaise with the sales team and underwriters to resolve policy-related queries and issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date policy files, both physical and electronic.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry .
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing complex documentation.
- Proficiency in using administrative software, including MS Office Suite and ideally a policy administration system .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively in a busy office setting.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
