About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Insurance Policy Administrator to join their busy operations team in Bristol . This role is fundamental to the smooth running of the company, involving the accurate processing of new insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. You will be responsible for maintaining policyholder records and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within service level agreements. The successful candidate will be a key support for the sales and underwriting teams, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients in the Bristol area, operating under a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance applications, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update policyholder records in the company's administration system.
- Respond to policyholder and broker queries regarding policy details, coverage, and billing.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, certificates, and other correspondence.
- Liaise with underwriters and claims handlers to resolve administrative issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements in all administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or policy processing role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in using office software, particularly word processing and spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
