About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised Insurance Policy Administrator to join their team in Belfast . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth and accurate management of insurance policies from inception through to renewal. You will be responsible for processing policy documentation, handling amendments, and liaising with customers and internal teams to provide excellent administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to contribute to a reputable insurance company, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policies, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update policyholder records in the company's administration system, ensuring data integrity.
- Respond to customer and broker inquiries regarding policy details, coverage, and administrative procedures.
- Prepare and issue policy documents, schedules, and certificates of insurance.
- Liaise with underwriting and claims departments to resolve policy-related queries and issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or policy processing role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
